The report refers to two different book publications based on his research of human sexuality: Sexual Behavior in the Human Male (1948) and Sexual Behavior in the Human Female (1953). The books were widely read and Kinsey became a media star. The Kinsey Report was the most extensive analysis of human sexuality conducted to its day.
